Bringing yacht days into the everyday

We started Sea Friends in 2019 because a yacht trip need not be the overpriced, pretentious, rich man’s hobby that has entered popular perception, no doubt encouraged by social media. A day out on the water is not a familiar activity for many people here in Singapore, so we want to change that. We also want to share the beauty of the southern islands, an often overlooked area that many people have not yet experienced.

In many parts of Europe or America it's common to have an uncle with a yacht, together with memories of lazy summer afternoons on the lake or boat trips down the coast. Here in Singapore we don’t have that tradition of maritime recreation which is a waste as we are surrounded by water! Our founding objective was to make boating accessible to the public at large, in terms of price point but also comfort level and awareness - many people simply don't know that the southern islands exist! Along the way we expanded our fleet and had many new partnerships with other yacht owners and now have a full range of flybridge and catamaran yachts available for charter at prices ranging from budget to luxurious. In addition, we now offer the convenience of providing BBQ food, and can arrange various add-on services such as decoration, photography (including drone photography), DJ, advanced water toys such as jetski, and many more, through tie-ups with external vendors.

Many people who message us have never chartered before, and that is exactly who we built this for. Tell us when you want to charter, your headcount, and your rough budget, and we will sort out the rest. We are excited to get you on the water!
